Relic İmparatorluğu'nu oluşturacak olan kabileler, kabile dönemi sırasında kendi geleneklerinin uygun gördüğü şekilde yaşamlarını idame ettiriyorlardı. Gelenekleri sadece onlara uygun ve onurlu bir yaşamın yolunu göstermekle kalmıyor, aynı zamanda onlara hayatta kalabilmeleri için gerekli olan öğretileri sunuyordu. Her kabilenin farklı atalara sahip olması nedeniyle öğretiler, aynı amaca hizmet ediyor olsa bile birbirlerinden oldukça farklılık gösteriyorlardı. Bazı kabileler açık bozkır alanlarına hükmedebilmek adına binicilik üzerine uzmanlaşırken, bazı kabileler içinde bulundukları iklime karşı dayanıklı hale gelebilmek adına kendi vücutlarını sert eğitimlerden geçiriyorlardı. Kabileler birbirlerine karşı çoğu zaman tehditkar bir tavır takınıyor olsa bile aralarında bir harmoni söz konusuydu. Ta ki kavrayamadıkları bir güç tarafından hezimete uğrayana kadar.
Kabile halinde yaşayan topluluklar ve inançları tarafından yönetilmeyi seçmiş topluluklar arasında sürekli olarak bir çatışma söz konusuydu. İnanç toplulukları kendi inançlarının dünya üzerindeki hakimiyetini artırmak adına sürekli olarak savaşlar ilan ediyordu. Kabileler ise bu savaşların kendi geleneklerine karşı yapılan bir saldırı olduğu düşüncesini benimseyerek karşı saldırıya geçiyordu. Bu savaşlar sırasında atalarından miras aldıkları öğretileri ve sert yapıları sayesinde kabileler oldukça ileri çıkıyordu. Ta ki inançlar savaş mantığına yeni bir soluk getirene kadar.
İnançlar, tanrılarından geldiğini iddia ettikleri öğretileri araştırarak kinyum maddesi üzerindeki anlayışlarını artırmaya başladılar. Bu gelişme yüzünden savaşların etkileri gitgide yükseliyor, kaybolan insan hayatlarının sayısı hızla artıyordu. Kabilelerin öğretileri ne kadar onları yıllar boyunca hayatta tutabilmiş olsa da, artık zayıf kalmaya başlıyorlardı. İnançlar ise kabilelerin her zayıf kaldıkları anı onlara karşı kullanarak topraklarını genişletiyor, mağlup ettikleri kabileleri ise köleleştirerek dünya halklarına sert bir mesaj veriyorlardı.
Kinyum ile güç kazanarak karşılarında duran her topluluğa cehennemi yaşatan Virethra, Kavirle ve Aeterna inançları inanılmaz bir gelişim dönemine girmişti. Bu gelişim sayesinde çoktan köleleştirerek kamplarda tuttukları topluluklardan çok daha ileri düzey bir medeniyet seviyesine sahip olmuşlardı. O zamanlarda bulunan toplulukların gözünde dünyanın kaderi çoktan belirlenmişti.
Kavirle İnancı'nın topraklarında bulunan bir kampta köle olarak tutulan Poheni Kabilesi, kölecilerin gözünde diğer kabilelere göre çok daha değerliydi. Bunun sebebi sahip oldukları sıra dışı özellikleriydi. Poheni Kabilesi'nin kadınları neredeyse her zaman tek yumurta ikizi çocuklara sahip oluyordu. Bu sayede kısa zamanda nüfuslarını hızlıca artırabiliyorlardı. Poheni Kabilesi'nin hayatta kalma şanslarını artıran bu yetenek, köleciler tarafından daha fazla kâr elde edebilmek adına kullanılıyordu. Bu da Poheni Kabilesi'nin tutulduğu köle kampının inanılmaz kalabalık olmasına yol açıyordu.
İşte bu çaresiz bırakılmış kalabalık kabilenin içerisinde bir oğlan çocuğu doğdu. Adı Marcus Relic olan bu çocuk küçüklüğünden beri inançlara karşı inanılmaz bir nefrete sahipti. Ona göre köle olarak yaşamak, özgürlük uğruna savaşırken ölmekten çok daha kötüydü. Fakat içinde doğduğu Poheni Kabilesi'nde onun bu fikrini destekleyebilecek çok kişi yoktu. Kabile fertleri çoktan özgürlük hayalleri kurmayı bırakmış, umutsuz hallerini kendilerini kandırarak göz ardı etmişlerdi. Zamanında en saygı duyulan kabilelerden birisi olan Poheni Kabilesi, inançların zulmü karşısında kendi kimliğini unutmuştu. Marcus, sadece kimliklerini yeniden benimserlerse kabilesinin özgürlüğe ulaşabileceğinin farkındaydı. Kabilesine bunu yeniden kazandırabilmek uğruna ise kendi hayatından olmaya sonuna kadar hazırdı.
Marcus Relic, daha 13 yaşındayken kendi yaşıtlarından başlayarak özgürlük hakkında vizyonunu kabilesine aşılamaya başlamıştı. İlk zamanlarında yaşıtı olan çocuklar dışında onu ciddiye alan kimse olmasa da, zamanla sözlerinin ağırlığı anlaşılmaya başlanıyordu. Marcus Relic sadece konuşma yapmıyor, kendi soyunun kudretini unutmuş insanlara yıllardır istemekten korktukları özgürlüğü yeniden sunuyordu. Onun konuşmalarını dinleyen kişiler karşılarında hayal kuran bir çocuk değil, kendi atalarının onlara sunduğu ikinci bir şansı görüyorlardı. Bu yüzden Poheni Kabilesi, Marcus Relic'i takip etme kararı aldı. Böylece devrimlerinin ilk adımını da atmış oldular.
Devrimin ilk adımının atılmasının ardından gelen 3 yıl boyunca Poheni Kabilesi, devrimlerini gerçekleştirecekleri güne hazırlanmaya başladılar. Marcus Relic ile aynı yaşta olan oğullarına kölecilerden gizli savaş eğitimleri verdiler, sayı avantajlarını en etkili şekilde kullanabilmek adına yüzlerce plan kurdular. Herkes özgürlüklerinin gelişini temsil edecek olan Marcus Relic'in emrini bekliyordu. Ve sonunda o emir 16 yaşında olan Marcus Relic'ten geldi.
Köleciler Poheni Kabilesi'nin tutulduğu kampa olgunlaşmış erkekleri almak için yılda 2 kere kampın içerisine girmek zorunda kalıyordu. Bu yılın ilk köle alım zamanı geldiğinde köleciler kampın içerisine muhafızlarıyla beraber girdiler. Fakat bu sefer onları alınmak için bekleyen uslu köleler değil, özgürlüğü adına her şeyini feda edebilecek bir kabile bekliyordu. Marcus Relic, güneşin tüm ışıklarını üzerinde toplayan kılıcını havaya kaldırdı ve bağırdı "Tüm inançlara ve tanrılarına ölüm!"
Poheni Kabilesi, 3 yıldır beklediği emre sonunda ulaşabilmişti. Onlar için bu sadece bir emir değil, bir özgürlük fermanıydı. Poheni Kabilesi'nden savaşma kabiliyeti olan herkes kamplarının içine kadar gelen muhafızlarıyla beraber kölecileri katletti. Ardından hazırlıksız yakaladıkları kapı muhafızlarını sayıları ile boğarak öldürdüler. Muhafızların öldürülmesiyle onları yıllardır hapis tutan kapıları, hayali zincirleriyle beraber kırarak özgür kaldılar.
Poheni Kabilesi, Marcus Relic önderliğinde özgürlüklerine kavuşmayı başardılar. Fakat Marcus'un vizyonu burada son bulmuyordu. Marcus, sadece kendi kabilelerini değil tüm köleleştirilen kabileleri özgürlüklerine kavuşturarak tek bir çatı altında toplamak istiyordu. Fakat bu isteğini yerine getirmenin kolay olmayacağının farkındaydı. Poheni Kabilesi özgürlüklerine sayı avantajları ve uzun süreli planları sayesinde ulaşabilmişlerdi. Diğer kabilelerde ise bu koşullar söz konusu değildi. Bu yüzden Marcus, yeni bir plan ile kabilesinin karşısına çıktı. Öncelikle kamplarını bir üs olarak kullanarak olası saldırılara dayanabilecek bir yapıya sahip olacaklardı ardından Marcus Relic ve seçili savaşçılar kendilerini kaçak köleler olarak göstererek yakınlarda bulunan köle kamplarına giriş yapacaklardı. İçeri alındıklarında ise kabileye kendi vizyonlarından bahsedecek ve Poheni Kabilesi'nin dışarıdan yapacağı saldırının tarihini söyleyeceklerdi. Bu şekilde hem kabileyi davalarına dahil edebilecek hem de saldırıları sırasında onlara içeriden destek olacak bir birliğe sahip olacaklardı.
Planlarını işleve sokarak kurtardıkları ilk kabile Vigret Kabilesi oldu. Vigret Kabilesi'ni ilk hedefleri olarak seçmelerinin nedeni bu kabilenin demir işçiliği ile ileri çıkmasıydı. Yapacakları bağımsızlık savaşı sırasında onlara oldukça fazla silah ve zırh gerekecekti. Vigret Kabilesi bu açığı rahatlıkla kapatabilirdi. Kabile üyeleri, Marcus Relic'in karizmatik konuşmaları ve Poheni Kabilesi'nin güvencesi sayesinde saldırı planını kabul etti. Poheni Kabilesi, kampa saldırısı oldukça başarılı geçti. Köleciler, hazırlıksız yakalandıkları iki taraflı saldırı karşısında çaresiz kalarak ağır bir yenilgiye uğradı. Böylece Marcus Relic, sadece Poheni Kabilesi'nin değil aynı zamanda Vigret Kabilesi'nin de kurtarıcı figürü olarak görülmeye başlandı.
Marcus Relic, Vigret Kabilesi'nin tutulduğu kampı orada bulunduğu süre boyunca inceleme şansı buldu. Vigret Kabilesi, diğer köleleştirilmiş kabilelere nazaran satılmak için değil üretim yapmaları için tutuluyordu. Kampları koca bir demirci olarak düşünülebilirdi. Bu durumu kendi çıkarları için kullanabileceğini bilen Marcus Relic, Poheni Kabilesi'ni geçici üs olarak kullandıkları kamplarından alarak bu yeni kampa yerleştirdi. Böylece hem üretimde Vigret Kabilesi'ne yardımcı olabilecekler hem de birlik içinde olarak savunmalarını artırabileceklerdi.
Bu ilk başarılarının ardından elde ettikleri savaşa uygun ekipmanları ve yeni insan kaynaklarıyla diğer kabileleri özgürleştirme yolunda ilerlediler. Sırasıyla Turma, Visarius ve Ironborn kabilelerini özgürleştirdiler. Bu büyük çaplı başarılarının ardından Marcus Relic, sadece bir önder değil kutsal bir kurtarıcı ünvanına ulaştı. Tek bir çatı altında topladığı kabileleri büyük bir göçle sıra dağların arkasında kalan araziye götürdü. 5 Büyük kabilenin yıllar süren uğraşlarının ardından Relic Krallığı kuruldu.
İnançlara karşı duydukları ortak nefret sayesinde kırılmaz bir bağı bulunan kabilelerin deha bir lider tarafından bir araya getirilmesiyle kurulan Relic Krallığı, insanlık tarihinde kurulan ilk krallık olma özelliğine sahiptir. Aynı zamanda Relic Krallığı'nın kuruluşu ile dünya tarihi Resurgo öncesi (RÖ) ve Resurgo sonrası (RS) olarak ikiye ayrılmıştır.
Relic Krallığı, işleyen bir düzene sahip olduğu an itibariyle gelişimlerini tamamıyla durdurarak, Virethra, Aeterna ve Kavirle inançlarına karşı bir savaş ilanında bulunmuştur. Savaş ilanının ardından ise tüm kabilelerden toplanan savaşçılar ile bir ordu kurulmuştur. Fakat bu ordu normal bir orduyla kesinlikle karıştırılmamalıdır. Marcus Relic, himayesi altına aldığı tüm kabilelerin öğretilerini detaylı şekilde incelemiştir. Her kabilenin öğretilerine uygun olarak ordu bölüklerine farklı kabilelerden savaşçılar yerleştirmiştir. Böylece Relic ordusunun içerisinde bulunan her bölük kendi amacını layıkıyla yerine getirebilecek kabile savaşçıları tarafından oluşturulmuştur.
Resurgo Savaşları, Aspen Ovası'nda gerçekleşen 1. Aspen Savaşı ile başlar. On yıl boyunca aralıksız olarak yüzlerce cephede devam edecek olan bu savaşta; Kavirle ve Aeterna inançları Marcus Relic tarafından yok edilecek, kahramanlar ortaya çıkacak ve günümüz dünyasını oluşturacak olan krallıklar kurulacaktı. Fakat bu savaş farklı bir zamanın konusudur.
Resurgo Savaşları'nın ardından savaşa dahil olan topluluklar, yok olmasına katkıda bulundukları inançların topraklarına sahip olmak adına birbirleriyle kanlı bir rekabete giriştiler. Fakat Relic Krallığı, müttefiklerinin anlaşmazlıklarını göz ardı ederek kendi krallıklarını geliştirmeye odaklanmıştır.
İlk odaklandıkları husus topraklarına Resurgo Savaşları'ndan önce kurdukları yapıları yenilemek olmuştur. Ardından ise Resurgo Savaşları boyunca aldıkları göçler nedeniyle kontrolsüz şekilde artan popülasyonlarını topraklarının tamamına dağıtmışlardır. Bu sayede hem şehirlerinin popülasyonlarını azaltmış hem de boş topraklarına canlılık katarak verimliliklerini artırmışlardır. Bu yeniliklerle yanında çoktan kurulmuş olan politik bağlarını gerektiği yerde güçlendirerek veya zayıflatarak politik duruşlarını kesinleştirmişlerdir.
Yıl yirmi biri gösterdiğinde Relic Krallığı, tüm reformlarını gerçekleştirmiştir. Askeri gücü sayesinde çoktan korkulan bir krallık olan Relic Krallığı, gerçekleştirdiği reformlar ile çok daha güçlü bir konuma ulaşmıştır. Relic Krallığı'nın geleceği her zamankinden çok daha parlak gözüküyordur. Ta ki halkı tarafından kutsal olarak görülen Marcus Relic, uzun bir izolasyona çekilene kadar. Marcus Relic gibi hayatının her noktasında kendi halkı adına çalışmış bir liderin kendini tamamıyla izole ettiği haberi tüm dünya halklarına yayıldı. Çoğu kişi bu izolasyonu bir hastalığa bağlayarak Marcus Relic'in yakın zamanda ölüm haberini almayı beklediler. Relic halkı ise korku içinde kurtarıcılarının yeniden onlara umut dolu bir konuşma yapmasını bekliyorlardı. Korku dolu bekleyişleri 6 yıl sürdü.
6 uzun yılın ardından Marcus Relic, halkının karşısına özgürlüğü temsil eden şanlı haliyle yeniden çıktı.
Yokluğumu fırsat bilen alçaklar konuşmaya başlamış. Halkımı korkutmuş. Beni de ölü ilan etmişler! Gördüğünüz üzere, istemediğiniz kadar hayattayım! Ve halkımı göklere taşıyana kadar da öyle kalacağım.
65 yaşına girmesine rağmen hala sağlığı oldukça yerinde olan Marcus Relic, yeni bir proje ile halkının karşısına çıkar. Halkına, krallıklarını göklere ulaştırmak için kendisi kadar yetenekli liderlere ihtiyaç duyduğunu söyler. Fakat bu liderlerin Relic Krallığı'na bağlılıklarından emin olabilmesi için kendi soyundan gelmesi gerektiğini belirtir. Kendi soyunun yeterli olup olmadığını ölçebilmek için ise bir seçilim yapacağını söyleyerek projesini anlatmaya başlar.
Marcus Relic, Poheni Kabilesi'nden olan soylu kadınlar ile birlikte olacaktır. Bu birlikteliklerin sonucunda tek yumurta ikizi olarak doğacak olan çocuklardan sadece erkek olanlar seçilime uğratılacaktır. Bu oğulları yetişkinliğe erene kadar birlikte çeşitli alanlar üzerinde olan eğitimlerden geçeceklerdir. Yetişkinliğe ulaştıklarında ise tek yumurta ikizi oldukları kardeşleri ile Relic Kolezyumu'nda ölümüne bir düello yapılacaktır. Bu düellonun sonucunda hayatta kalan kişi seçilim sürecine devam edecektir. Fakat Marcus Relic, kazanan oğlunu yetersiz bulursa oğlunu kolezyumda idam ettirir.
Bu seçilim aşamasında ilk aşamayı geçebilen Relic soyadlı kişiler, 5 kişilik gruplara ayrılırlar. Bu gruplar liderlik pozisyonuna getirilecekleri yerlere göre farklı seçilim yöntemlerine maruz bırakılırlar.
Relic Krallığı'nı oluşturan kabilelerin başına getirilmesine karar verilen gruplar, kabile halklarına teslim edilirler. Kabile halkları onların himayesi altına verilen gruplara kendi öğretilerine göre eğitimler verirler. Bu eğitimler sırasında kabile halkı sürekli olarak grupları sınarlar. Eğer ki bu gruplar arasından yetersiz gördükleri kişiler olursa onları idam etme yetkisine sahiptirler. Böylece kabileler kendilerini yönetecek olan kişiyi kendi yöntemleri ile seçmiş olurlar.
Relic Krallığı'nın ana topraklarındaki şehirlerin ve idari makamların başına getirilecek gruplar, doğrudan Poheni Kabilesi tarafından eğitilir. Bu gruplara Poheni Kabilesi'nin eğitim vermesinin nedeni Poheni Kabilesi'nin toplum yönetimi konusunda oldukça yetenekli olmalarıdır. Aynı gruplar gönderilen kabileler gibi Poheni Kabilesi'ne de uygun gördükleri durumda gruptan kişileri idam edebilme yetkisi verilir.
Böylece farklı yerlere gönderilen 5 kişilik gruplardan tek bir kişi kalana kadar ikinci seçilim aşaması sürer.
Uygun görüldüğü yerde liderlik pozisyonuna getirilen Relic soyadlı kişiler, pozisyonlarına kaldıkları süre boyunca Relic Krallığı tarafından sürekli olarak teftiş edilir. Eğer ki yetkilerini sorumsuzca kullandığı fark edilirse, pozisyonundan alınır ve idama mahkum edilir. Aynı şekilde söz konusu olan liderlerin kendi soyları içerisinde seçilim projesini ilerletmediği fark edilirse idama mahkum edilebilir. İdamına karar verilen liderin yerine ise ikinci aşamayı geçmeyi başaran bir diğer Relic soyadlı kişi getirilir.
Bu üç aşamalı seçilim sayesinde Relic soyadına sahip olan kişiler inanılmaz liderlik yeteneklerine sahip olurlar. Bu yetenekler o kadar ileri çıkıyordur ki Relic soyunun normal insanlardan daha ileri düzey varlıklar olduğunu ima eden farklı bir adı daha vardır. "Relic Irkı"
Marcus Relic'in kendi ırkını oluşturmak adına yürürlüğe soktuğu seçilim projesinin üstünden 44 yıl geçmiştir. Marcus Relic, 109 yaşına basmasına rağmen şaşırtıcı şekilde hala 50'li yaşlarında bir kişinin görünümüne sahip olup aynı zamanda herhangi bir hastalık belirtisi göstermiyordur. Seçilim projesinden sağ çıkmayı başaran oğulları, liderlik pozisyonuna getirildikleri yerlerde inanılmaz başarılara imza atarak Relic Krallığı'na yeni bir soluk getirmeyi başarmışlardır.
Relic Krallığı, yeni liderlerinin ona kazandırdığı özgüven ile daha cüretkâr adımlar atma kararı alır. Relic Krallığı'nın yeni hedefi, mutlak dünya hakimiyetidir. Marcus Relic, ilk olarak Onelia Krallığı'na savaş ilanında bulunur. Onelia Krallığı; Santoria Krallığı ile aynı düzlemde bulunan, denizi karadan ayıran sıradağların bitişiğine kurulmuş bir krallıktır. Relic Krallığı'nın Onelia Krallığı topraklarını istemesinin birçok nedeni vardı. Himayesi altında bulunan Visarius Kabilesi, inançlar tarafından köleleştirilmeden önce Onelia Krallığı'nın topraklarında yaşıyordu. Marcus Relic, kurtardığı ilk kabileler arasında yer alan bu şanlı kabileyi eski topraklarına yeniden kavuşturmak ve aynı zamanda bu toprakları gelecek işgalleri için kullanmak istiyordu.
Onelia Krallığı, Relic Krallığı tarafından gelen savaş ilanına karşılık olarak müttefik olduğu krallıklardan ordular tayin etmeye başladı. Dünyanın gözü bu savaş üzerindeydi. Ne de olsa bu savaş, Resurgo Savaşları'ndan itibaren yaşanan en büyük çaplı savaş olacaktı.
Relic orduları, Onelia Krallığı'na doğru sefere çıktı. Seferleri sırasında onları yavaşlatma, zayıflatma amacıyla gönderilen tüm birlikleri bir böcek gibi ezerek ilerlediler. Onelia Krallığı topraklarına vardıklarında ise şehirlere kuşatma yapmak yerine direkt olarak saldırdılar. Kuşatma yapmadan şehir surlarına saldırmaları onlara zayiat verdirmiş olsa da Relic orduları, her saldırılarında başarılı oldular. Şu oldukça açıktı ki Relic Krallığı, ordu sistemleri yıllar içerisinde mükemmelleştirmişti. Belki de Relic Krallığı, ordularının ulaştığı gücü tüm dünyaya sergilemek adına direkt saldırı taktiğini benimsemişti.
Relic orduları, işgallerinin amacına beklenilenden çok daha hızlı ulaşabildi. Onelia Krallığı'nın başkenti, kısa bir zaman aralığında Relic kontrolüne boyun eğmek zorunda bırakıldı.
Onelia Krallığı'nın düşmesiyle Relic Krallığı, Visarius Kabilesi'ni eski topraklarına yeniden yerleştirdi. Visarius Kabilesi'ne yeniden yerleştikleri topraklarında önderlik etmesi adına Relic ırkından bir lider atandı. Ve bu yerleşkeye Visarius Hanedanlığı adı verildi.
Visarius Hanedanlığı'nın kurulmasıyla Relic Krallığı, ordularına yeni hanedanlığına konuşlandırmaya başladı. Konuşlanan ordular, yeni hanedanlıkları oluşturacak toprakları işgal etmek adına ilerlemeye başladı. İşgale uğrayan krallıkların kaderi Onelia Krallığı'ndan farksızdı. Sırayla Virethra İnancı'na yapılan saldırı ile topraklarının çoğunluğu alınarak Turma Hanedanlığı, Kimlar Krallığı'nın yapılan saldırı ile düşmesiyle Ironborn Hanedanlığı kuruldu. Diggret Krallığı, Relic tehdidine savaşmadan boyun eğerek Vigret Hanedanlığı'nın kurulmasına izin vermiştir. Böylece soylu ailesini hayatta tutabildi.
Bu şekilde Relic Krallığı, dünyanın dört bir yanında yer alan hanedanlıklara sahip olarak gücünü katlarca artırmayı başarmıştır. Aynı zamanda birçok farklı topraklarda edindiği toprakları ve etnik çeşitliliği sayesinde imparatorluk unvanına sahip olmuştur. İmparatorluk ünvanına sahip olmasıyla Relic İmparatorluğu, hanedanlıklarının sistemlerini tam olarak oturtmak ve gelecek seferlerine hazırlanmak adına saldırılarını durdurdu.
Relic İmparatorluğu'nun saldırıları sırasında tehdit altında olan krallıkların, bu saldırılara karşı koyamamasının en büyük nedeni savunma mücadelelerinde onlara yardım edebilecek müttefiklere sahip olmamalarıydı. Bu müttefiksizlik durumunun nedeni ise Resurgo Savaşları'nın ardından yok olan inançların arkasında bıraktığı geniş ve değerli toprakların paylaşımında çıkan savaşlardı. Bu savaşlar yüzünden sınırları bitişik olan çoğu krallık birbirlerine karşı düşmancıl bir tavır takınmıştı. Relic İmparatorluğu ise bu durumu kendi lehlerine kullanarak saldıracakları krallıkları özenle seçmişlerdi. Ve bu durumun devam etmesi durumunda Relic İmparatorluğu, amacına ulaşabilecekti.
Relic İmparatorluğu'nun ilk zamanlarından beri müttefiki olmuş İgnarus Topluluğu, beklenmedik bir şekilde Relic İmparatorluğu'nu desteklemediklerini açıklamıştır.
