Tanrı Ixovar; üstün olmayı, yönetmeyi ve bilinmezlik üzerindeki mutlak hâkimiyeti temsil eder. Tanrı Ixovar, inananlarına herkesten daha üstün olmalarını emreder. Ancak bu üstünlüğe ulaşmaları için Tanrı Ixovar'ın koyduğu, uyulması gereken belirli kurallar vardır:
- Üstünlüğünüzü tüm Dünya halkları fark etmelidir.
- Tüm dünya halkları, kendi istekleriyle sizin üstünlüğünüzü kabul edip altınızda yerlerini almalıdırlar.
- Aranızda olanların üstünlüğe layıklığını ölçmeli ve kademesini hak etmeyenleri bana kurban etmelisiniz.
Kabile Dönemi (MÖ 80 - 50) sırasında bir araya gelmemiş olan Yurak Kabilesi, köleciler tarafından ele geçirildiklerinde ilk topluluklarına ulaşmışlardır. Söylenenlere göre bir araya getirilen ilk Yurak bireyleri, kölecilerin elinden kendilerini bir nehire atarak kurtarmış ve nehir onları şu anki topraklarına sürüklemiştir. Fakat bu bilginin gerçekliği tartışmalıdır.
Kölelik Dönemi’nin en acımasız ve gaddar yıllarında Yurak Kabilesi, bu izole ve küçük topraklarda kendi yiyeceklerini yetiştirerek hayatta ve güvende kalmayı başarmıştır. Yurak Kabilesi, Kölelik Dönemi’nin sonuna kadar tüm dünyaya karşı kendini kapatmıştır.
Barınma ihtiyaçlarını gidermek adına, Vodio ismini verdikleri dağın, oyuğunu mesken tutmuşlardır. Nüfusları kalabalıklaştıkça, yerin derinliklerine doğru yeni kazılar yaparak sınırlarını genişletmişlerdir.
Yurak Kabilesi’nden bireylerin iddialarına göre, topraklarını genişletmeye başladıkları anda Tanrı Ixovar, onları üstün olanlar olarak seçmiş ve dünyayı onların hâkimiyetine vermiştir. Bunu düşünmelerinin nedeni, yeni toplumlarını kurabilmek için uzun yıllar boyunca kazdıkları topraklarda Kinyum maddesini bulmalarıdır. Kinyum’u keşfetmeleriyle birlikte Tanrıları’nın öğretilerinin anlamını kavramaya başlamışlardır.
Tanrı Ixovar’ın öğretilerini tam olarak anlayabilmek ve üstün olduklarını tüm dünyaya kanıtlayabilmek adına Yurak Kabilesi kazı çalışmalarını durdurmuş; çoktan inşa ettikleri yeraltı şehirlerinde bir araya gelerek öğretileri araştırmaya başlamıştır. Öğretileri aldıklarını iddia ettikleri bu yılda Yurak Kabilesi kendini tamamen soyutlamış ve mükemmel bir sistem kurma yolunda ilk adımlarını atmıştır. Bu döneme sonradan "Birinci Soyutlanma Dönemi" adı verilecektir.
Bu dönem sırasında Yurak Kabilesi, topraklarından Tanrıları’nın öğretilerine uygun biçimde faydalanmaya başlamıştır. Bu yirmi yıllık dönemde, öğretilerden aldıkları bilgilerle Kinyum maddesini kendi isteklerine göre kullanabilecekleri yöntemler geliştirmişlerdir.
Yaşadıkları topraklar, çiçeklerin ve çeşitli renklere sahip bitkilerin yetişmesine oldukça elverişliydi. Yurak Kabilesi uzun zamandır giydikleri kıyafetlerden kullandıkları eşyalara kadar her şeyi bu çiçek ve bitkilerden elde ettikleri renklerle boyamış. Bunu bir kültür hâline getirmiştir. Kölelik Dönemi’nde bu boya kültürü sayesinde kendilerini neşeli ve dirayetli tutabilmişlerdir. Onlara göre renkler yalnızca gözle değil, kalple görülen şeylerdir.
Kültürleri sayesinde renklerin insan psikolojisi üzerindeki etkilerini öğrenen Yurak Kabilesi, bu geleneği Tanrıları’nın öğretileriyle birleştirerek Kinyum etkisi altında kalmış renkler üretmeye başlamıştır.
“Ne gördüğünü bilmek, yalnızca bizim erebileceğimiz türden bir bilgeliktir.”
Kinyum etkisine maruz kalmış renkler, diğer insanlar tarafından gözlemlendiğinde, o renge ait psikolojik yansımalar katbekat artar. Kısacası Yurak Kabilesi, renkler aracılığıyla insanların duygularını ve düşüncelerini kontrol etmenin yolunu bulmuştu.
Birinci Soyutlanma Dönemi’nin sonlarına yaklaşılırken, Yurak Kabilesi tanrılarının kendilerine bahşettiği öğretiler üzerinde neredeyse kusursuz bir hâkimiyet kurmuştu. Ancak bu öğretiler, doğaları gereği, yalnızca bilenler tarafından değil; uygulayanlar aracılığıyla da var olmalıydı. Tarotçular, bu nedenle bilgiyi kendi adlarına değil, kendileri adına kullanabilecek insanlara ihtiyaç duyduklarını fark ettiler.
Bu ihtiyacı karşılamak amacıyla önce kendi topraklarında arayışa başladılar. Fakat tüm denemelere rağmen, belirledikleri ölçütlere uygun tek bir kişi dahi bulamadılar. Bunun üzerine sınırlarının ötesine açılmaya karar verdiler ve dış dünyada, gerekli potansiyele sahip insanları aramaya başladılar.
Tarotçuların arayışı uzun ve sonuçsuz ilerlerken, Santoria Krallığı için oldukça önemli ve politik bir güzergâh olan Antmar Yolu üzerinde dikkatlerini çeken sıra dışı bir manzarayla karşılaştılar.
Yolun hemen kenarında, büyük bir sirk kuruluydu.
Bu sirk, Tarotçularda açıklaması zor çağrışımlar uyandırmıştı. Sirke gelen insanlar, gösteri yapan soytarıları “işe yaramaz” ve “aptal” olarak nitelendirirken; Tarotçular, bu soytarılardaki gerçek potansiyelin farkına varmıştı. Halkın bu soytarılara bakış şekli, aslında onları görünmez hâle getiriyordu. Tarotçular, bu görünmezliği kendi amaçları için kullanabileceklerini düşündüler ve sirkin içine girerek soytarılarla temas kurdular.
Tarotçular, karşılarında duran bu topluluğa diğerlerinin gördüğü gibi “gereksiz salaklar” olarak değil; herkesin aptal sandığı için yanında gezdirmekten korkmayacağı insanlar olarak baktı. Soytarıların her birisinin gösterisi sona erdiğinde Tarotçular, sirk halkını bir araya getirip onlara Tanrı Ixovar’dan ve bu toplumun onları alt kademe gören bakışının nasıl tersine çevrilebileceğinden söz ettiler; hatta bu toplumu nasıl çökertebilecek bir güce sahip olabileceklerini anlattılar.
Haftalar boyunca devam eden bu karşılaşmalarda Tarotçular, her seferinde kıyafetleriyle sirk halkını biraz daha etkiledi. Sonunda, sirk halkından eski bir suçlu olan ve kimliğini gizlemek adına soytarılık yapma kararı alan Vois Karyon ile onun soyadına sahip kişiler Ixovar İnancı tarihinde ilk Performansçılar olarak tarihe geçtiler.
Vois’in ardından, sanki ip söküğü gibi, sirktekiler teker teker Tarotçulara katılmaya ve inançlarını benimsemeye başladı. Tüm sirk halkı onlara katıldığında Tarotçular, Vois Karyon’la birlikte yeraltı şehirlerine indi ve ona Kinyum renklerinin etkilerinden ve kullanma şekillerinden bahsetti. Bunu yapmalarının nedeni, Vois’in diğer performansçılara renkleri kullanmayı ve suikast tekniklerini öğretmesini istemeleriydi.
Tarotçular, Vois bu isteği hakkıyla yerine getirirse, onun soyunu Performansçıların “lider soyu” olarak atayacaklarını söyleyerek onu motive ettiler. Bunun üzerine Vois Karyon, tüm performansçılara Tarotçulardan ve kurmak istedikleri sistemden bahsetmeye başladı.
Karyon soyadını taşıyanlar dışında, performansçılardan hiçbiri Tarotçuların yeraltı şehirlerinde yaşadığını bilmez; renklerin bu etkiyi nasıl kazandığını da bilmezdi. Performansçıların Tarotçular hakkında bildiği tek şey şuydu: Görevler onlardan gelirdi ve görevler doğru yapılmazsa Karyonlar, onların değersiz ve “üstün olmaya uygun olmadıklarını” görüp idam ederdi.

Performansçılar genellikle yalnız çalışırdı; ancak nadiren, tek kişiye fazla gelen görevleri grup hâlinde yerine getirebilirlerdi. Bu nadir durumlarda, hedefin yaşadığı bölgeye giden performansçılar, o bölgenin en gözde ve bilinen yerine bir sirk kurar; görevlerini tamamlayana kadar orada kalırlardı. Bu garip davranışlarının nedeni sorulduğunda ise, insanların gözlerinin önünde olan şeyi bile görememesi gerçeğiyle alay etmekten keyif aldıklarını söylerlerdi.
Böylece Yurak Kabilesi, Tarotçular olmuş; performansçılarıyla birlikte dünyayı daha önce görülmemiş bir tehlikeye maruz bırakacak bir düzenin temellerini atmışlardı.
Birinci Soyutlanma Dönemi sırasında aktif rol oynamış ya da o dönemde yaşamış olanların soyundan gelen Yurak bireyleri, Tarotçu olma hakkına sahiptir. Tanrı Ixovar tarafından dünyaya hükmetmeleri hoş karşılanan bu kişiler, dünya hâkimiyetine ulaşmak adına yapılması gereken görevleri ve ihtiyaçları belirleyenlerdir.
Tarotçular, belirledikleri görevleri performansçılara doğrudan iletmez ve araya bir aracı sokmazlar. Görev, kuş aracılığıyla gönderilen tarot kartları üzerinden bildirilir. Performansçı, kendisine öğretilen şifreli biçimde bu kartları okuyarak görevi anlar. Kartları okuduktan sonra, performansçı kartı getiren kuşu öldürmelidir. Böylece görev veren Tarotçu ile performansçı arasındaki haberleşme tamamlanmış olur.
Tarotçuların yıllar içinde mükemmelleştirdikleri görev sistemi ve Karyon’un verdiği uzun soluklu eğitimler sonucunda, tarihte eşi benzeri görülmemiş bir inanç yapısı doğmuştur. Dünya hâkimiyeti adına ilk görevlerine gönderilen performansçılardan başarısız dönenlerin sayısı bir elin parmaklarını geçmezken; başarıyla dönenler kendilerinden beklenenden fazlasını yapabilmiştir.
Üç yıl süren bu dönemde az sayıda da olsa sistemsel hatalar giderilmiş, performansçıların eksikleri düzeltilmiştir.
Performansçıların başarılarıyla özgüven kazanan Tarotçular, dünya hâkimiyeti yolunda daha cüretkâr adımlar atmak istiyorlardı. Fakat bu adımlar, hem mantıklı hem de onları gereğinden fazla açığa çıkarmayacak nitelikte olmalıydı. Zira performansçılar suikastte usta olsalar da birebir dövüşte oldukça zayıftılar; yakalandıkları takdirde ordu olarak kullanılamazlardı.
Yeni hedef arayışları sürerken Tarotçular, Draco Krallığı’nın bir isyan içinde olduğunu ve kral Cristoph Draco’nun tahtının sallandığını duydular. Cristoph yeni bir kraldı, ancak halkının öfkesi ve düşmanlarının planları arasında sıkışmıştı. Onun ölümü ses getirir, ama kim tarafından yapıldığı gizemli kalırdı — tam da Tarotçuların istediği türden bir mesaj.
Bu nedenle karar kesindi: Cristoph Draco’nun ölümü, Tarotçuların büyük hâkimiyetinin başlangıcı olacaktı.
Performansçılar, tarot kartlarını aldılar; kartları getiren kuşların kanı aktı. Şimdi sıra yalnızca kralın kanını dökmekteydi.
Başlarında bir Karyon ile Draco Krallığı’na giden performansçılar, önce halkın ardından soyluların ilgisini çekmeyi başardılar. Bu karanlık ve gergin dönemde halka eğlence vadederek kralın huzuruna ulaşmayı başardılar. Ondan sonrası, domino taşlarının birbirini devirmesi gibi hızlı ve kademeli biçimde ilerledi.
Draco Krallığı’nın kralı Cristoph Draco, bir gece sarayında zevk ve eğlence içinde uykuya daldı; sabaha yalnızca soğuk bir ceset olarak uyandı. Cinayet kısa sürede yayıldı, herkes aynı soruyu sormaya başladı:
“Bu mükemmel suikastı kim yapmış olabilir?”
Hiç kimse cevabı bulamadı. Geride yalnızca kralın bedenine saplanmış, üzerinde bir imza gibi duran hançer kalmıştı.
Performansçıların bu görevi kusursuz biçimde tamamlaması, Tarotçulara uzun süredir unuttukları bir duyguyu geri getirdi:
Tarotçular, dünyaya karşı sessiz bir savaş başlatmışlardı. Bu savaşın amacı ne para ne de statüydü — tek arzuları, Tanrılarının onlara bahşettiği üstünlüğü tüm insanlığa kabul ettirmekti. Bu savaşta cepheler yoktu; kılıçlar çarpışmıyor, oklar havayı yarmıyordu. Cepheler yerine krallıklar, kılıçlar yerine hançerler, okların ıslığı yerine müzikler vardı.
Tarotçuların savaşı beş yıl boyunca durmaksızın sürdü. Lordlardan krallara kadar, toplumun sesini bastıran her güçlü isim teker teker ölüyordu. Fakat kimse bir savaşın içinde olduklarını anlamıyor; liderlerinin neden ve nasıl öldüğüne dair hiçbir açıklama bulamıyordu.

Cüretkârlıklarıyla yeni kazandıkları cesaret birleşince Tarotçular, yıllar içinde giderek daha yüksek kademedeki insanları hedef almaya ve krallıkların en derin sırlarına ulaşmaya başladılar. Bu dönemlerde Tarotçulara başarıdan çok başarısızlık gerekirdi; belki o zaman Altın Çağ hiç bitmez, Tanrıları Ixovar’ın seçtiği ırk olarak dünyaya hükmedebilirlerdi.
Bir gün, performansçılara yeni bir görevin habercisi olan bir kuş yaklaşıyordu. Fakat bu kuş, öncekiler gibi büyük bir hazne taşımıyordu; yalnızca tek bir kart getiriyordu. Kuş onlara ulaştığında kartın hangisi olduğu görüldü: Elinde altından sopasıyla tahtında rahatça oturan bir adam — İmparator kartı.
Görev, açık ve netti:
Karşılarında, Relic İmparatorluğu’nun kudretli hükümdarı Marcus Relic vardı.
Tarotçulardan aldıkları her görevi kusursuz biçimde yerine getiren performansçılar bile bu görev karşısında dehşete düşmüştü. Hatta bazıları, Karyon soyuna bu görevin iptali için dilek iletmeyi bile düşünmüştü. Fakat böyle bir talebin doğuracağı sonuçlardan korkarak sustular ve tarihlerindeki en büyük sirki hazırlamak üzere Relic İmparatorluğu’nun topraklarına doğru yola koyuldular.
Relic Kolezyumu’nun ve Marcus Relic’in cenneti sayılan şatosu’nun bulunduğu şehre vardıklarında, bir şeylerin ters gittiğini hissettiler. İnsanlar sanki onların görkemli renklerini değil, altındaki gerçeği — kim olduklarını — görebiliyordu. Bu garip hissi görevin ağırlığına bağlayarak göz ardı eden performansçılar, her zamanki gibi görevlerine devam ettiler.
Ancak bir gece, Relic ordusunun piyadeleri sirki bastı. Performansçılar çadırlarında uyurken hepsi acımasızca katledildi. Yalnız Relic’te değil, dünyanın dört bir yanındaki performansçılar da bulundukları şehirlerde halkın askerleri tarafından aynı gecede öldürüldüler. Performansçılar, tek bir gecede yok edilmişti.
Dünya, sanki onları kendi elleriyle yaratmış gibi, bir anda hepsini bulmuştu. Haberi alan Tarotçular kendi kendilerine aynı soruları sormaktan vazgeçemediler:
“Nasıl bizim sistemimizi anladılar?”
“Nasıl bizden daha bilge olabilirler?”
“Performansçılar olmadan üstünlüğümüzü nasıl kanıtlayacağız?”
Bu felaketin haberini alır almaz Tarotçular, fark edilmeleri korkusuyla yeraltı şehirlerine kapanmışlardır. Şehirlerinde korku içinde bir o yana bir bu yana koşuşan Tarotçular, Altın Çağ’a nasıl dönebileceklerini düşünüp hiçbir sonuca ulaşamamışlardır. Performansçılar bulmak için bile dışarı çıkamayan Tarotçular, çaresizce üstlerindeki dikkat dağılana kadar beklemeye karar vermişlerdir.
Ne kadar süreceği bilinmeyen bu bekleyiş sırasında, ölme ihtimallerine karşı gelecek nesil Tarotçulara kendi tarihlerini ve öğretilerini anlatan bir kitap yazmış ve bu kitabı yeraltı şehirlerinin en derin noktasına saklamışlardır.
Yaşadıkları felaketle tüm cesaretlerini ve özgüvenlerini yitiren Tarotçular, sessizliklerini bozmadan umutsuzca beklemeyi sürdürdüler. Felaketi yaşayan nesilden sonra gelenler, dedelerinden bile daha korkak bir hâle geldi. Kitabı saklamaya devam ettiler ve inançlarını yalnızca yeraltında yaşamaya karar verdiler. Uzun yıllar boyunca Tarotçular, kendi tarihlerini bilen ama o tarihin anlamını unutan, sıradan insanlar hâline geldi. Artık Tanrıları’nın onları seçtiğine bile inanmıyorlardı.
Yalnızca bir aile dışında...
God Ixovar represents superiority, rule, and absolute dominance over the unknown. God Ixovar commands believers to be superior to everyone else. However, there are specific rules set by God Ixovar that must be followed to achieve this superiority:
- Your superiority must be recognized by all peoples of the world.
- All peoples of the world must voluntarily accept your superiority and take their place beneath you.
- You must measure the worthiness of superiority among yourselves and sacrifice those who do not deserve their rank to me.
The Tribe of Yurak, which had not come together during the Tribal Period (80-50 B.C.), reached their first community when they were captured by slavers. According to legend, the first Yurak individuals who were brought together saved themselves from the slavers by throwing themselves into a river, and the river carried them to their current lands. However, the truth of this information is disputed.
During the most ruthless and cruel years of the Slavery Period, the Tribe of Yurak managed to survive and stay safe by growing their own food in these isolated and small lands. The Tribe of Yurak closed themselves off from the entire world until the end of the Slavery Period.
To meet their shelter needs, they made the cave of the mountain they named "Vodio" their dwelling. As their population grew, they expanded their boundaries by digging new excavations deeper into the ground.
According to claims by individuals of The Yurak Tribe, the moment they began to expand their lands, God Ixovar chose them as the superior ones and gave the world to their rule. The reason they think this is because they found the substance Kinyum in the lands they had dug for many years to establish their new society. With the discovery of Kinyum, they began to understand the meaning of their God's teachings.
In order to fully understand God Ixovar's teachings and prove their superiority to the entire world, the Yurak Tribe stopped their excavation work; they gathered in the underground cities they had already built and began to research the teachings. In this year when they claimed to have received the teachings, the Yurak Tribe completely isolated themselves and took their first steps toward establishing a perfect system. This period would later be called the "First Isolation Period."
During this period, the Yurak Tribe began to benefit from their lands in accordance with their God's teachings. During this twenty-year period, they developed methods to use the Kinyum substance according to their own desires with the knowledge they gained from the teachings.
The lands they lived on were quite suitable for the growth of flowers and plants of various colors. Tribe of Yurak dyed everything from the clothes they had worn for a long time to the items they used with colors obtained from these flowers and plants. They made this a culture. During the Slavery Period, thanks to this dye culture, they were able to keep themselves cheerful and resilient. According to them, colors are things seen not only with the eye but with the heart.
The Tribe of Yurak, who learned about the effects of colors on human psychology thanks to their culture, began to produce colors under the influence of Kinyum by combining this tradition with their God's teachings.
"To know what you see is a kind of wisdom only we can achieve."
Kinyum-effected colors, when observed by other people, increased the psychological reflections of that color many times over. In short, the Yurak Tribe had found a way to control people's emotions and thoughts through colors.
As they approached the end of the First Isolation Period, the Tribe of Yurak had established almost perfect mastery over the teachings their gods had bestowed upon them. However, these teachings, by their nature, had to exist not only through those who knew them but also through those who practiced them. Tarotists, therefore, realized that they needed people who could use the knowledge not in their own name, but in their name.
To meet this need, they first began searching in their own lands. However, despite all attempts, they could not find even a single person who met their criteria. Upon this, they decided to open beyond their borders and began searching for people with the necessary potential in the outside world.
While Tarostists search was long and fruitless, they encountered an unusual scene that caught their attention on the Antmar Road, which was a very important and political route for the Santoria Kingdom.
Right next to the road, a large circus was being set up.
This circus evoked difficult-to-explain associations in the Tarotists. While people coming to the circus described the performing jesters as "useless" and "stupid"; the Tarorists had realized the real potential in these jesters. The way the people looked at these jesters was actually making them invisible. The Tarotists thought they could use this invisibility for their own purposes and entered the circus to contact the jesters.
The Tarotists looked at this community standing before them not as "useless fools" as others saw them, but as people whom no one would be afraid to keep around because everyone thought they were stupid. When each of the jesters' performances ended, the Tarotists gathered the circus people and told them about God Ixovar and how this society's view of them as lower class could be reversed; they even explained how they could have the power to destroy this society.
During these encounters that continued for weeks, the Tarotists influenced the circus people a little more each time with their clothes. Finally, an old criminal from the circus people named Vois Karyon, who had decided to become a jester to hide his identity, and those who bore his surname entered the history of the Faith of Ixovar as the first Performers.
After Vois, as if a thread had been pulled, those in the circus began to join the Tarotists one by one and adopt their faith. When all the circus people joined them, the Tarotists went down to the underground cities with Vois Karyon and told him about the effects of Kinyum colors and how to use them. The reason they did this was because they wanted Vois to teach the other performers how to use colors and assassination techniques.
The Tarotists motivated him by saying that if Vois fulfilled this request properly, they would appoint his lineage as the "leading lineage" of the Performers. Upon this, Vois Karyon began to tell all performers about the Tarotists and the system they wanted to establish.
Except for those bearing the Karyon surname, none of the performers knew that the Tarotists lived in underground cities; nor did they know how colors gained this effect. The only thing the Performers knew about the Tarotists was this: Tasks came from them, and if tasks were not done correctly, the Karyons would see that they were worthless and "not suitable for superiority" and execute them.
Performers had to be trained by the Karyon surname, and each had to have their own art form. Using their arts, they would get into the good graces of people seen as "important" and "high"; when the time came, or when they got what they wanted, they would sacrifice their targets to Ixovar with Karyon training.
Performers usually worked alone; however, rarely, they could carry out tasks that were too much for one person in groups. In these rare cases, performers going to the region where the target lived would set up a circus at that region's most popular and known place; they would stay there until they completed their tasks. When asked about the reason for this strange behavior, they said they enjoyed mocking the fact that people could not see even what was right before their eyes.
Thus, the Yurak Tribe had become Tarotists; together with their performers, they had laid the foundations of an order that would expose the world to an unprecedented danger.
Yurak individuals who actively played a role during the First Isolation Period or are descended from those who lived during that period have the right to become Tarotists. These people, who are favored by God Ixovar to rule the world, are those who determine the tasks and needs that must be done to achieve world dominance.
Tarotists do not directly communicate the tasks they determine to the performers and do not put an intermediary between them. The task is communicated through tarot cards sent via bird. The performer understands the task by reading these cards in the encrypted form taught to them. After reading the cards, the performer must kill the bird that brought the card. Thus, communication between the Tarotist who gives the task and the performer is completed.
As a result of the task system perfected by the Tarotists over the years and the long-term training given by Karyon, an unprecedented faith structure in history was born. After that, it progressed quickly and gradually, like dominoes knocking each other down.
The king of the Draco Kingdom, Cristoph Draco, fell asleep one night in his palace in pleasure and entertainment; he woke up in the morning only as a cold corpse. The murder spread quickly, everyone began asking the same question:
"Who could have carried out this perfect assassination?"
No one could find the answer. Only a dagger remained, stuck in the king's body, standing like a signature.
The performers' flawless completion of this task brought back an emotion the Tarotists had long forgotten:
The Tarotists had started a silent war against the world. The purpose of this war was neither money nor status — their only desire was to make all humanity accept the superiority their God had bestowed upon them. In this war, there were no fronts; swords did not clash, arrows did not cut through the air. Instead of fronts, there were kingdoms, instead of swords, daggers, instead of the whistle of arrows, there was music.
The Tarotists' war continued relentlessly for five years. From lords to kings, every powerful name that silenced society's voice was dying one by one. But no one understood they were in a war; they could find no explanation for why and how their leaders died.
Until the war reached its fifth year...
When their newly gained courage combined with their boldness, the Tarotists began to target people of increasingly higher ranks over the years and reach the deepest secrets of kingdoms. During these periods, the Tarotists needed failure more than success; perhaps then the Golden Age would never end, and they could rule the world as the race chosen by their God Ixovar.
One day, a bird was approaching to herald a new task to the performers. But this bird was not carrying a large message like the previous ones; it was bringing only a single card. When the bird reached them, which card it was became clear: A man sitting comfortably on his throne with his golden staff in hand — the Emperor card.
The task was clear and straightforward:

Even the performers who had flawlessly carried out every task they received from the Tarotists were horrified at this task. Some even thought of sending a request to the Karyon lineage to cancel this task. But fearing the consequences of such a request, they remained silent and set out for the lands of the Relic Empire to prepare the greatest circus in their history.
When they arrived in the city where the Relic Colosseum and Marcus Relic's castle, considered his paradise, were located, they felt something was wrong. People seemed to be able to see not their magnificent colors, but the truth beneath them — who they were. Dismissing this strange feeling as the weight of the task, the performers continued their mission as usual.
However, one night, the Relic army's infantry stormed the circus. The performers were all mercilessly slaughtered while sleeping in their tents. Not only in Relic, but performers all over the world were killed by the people's soldiers in the cities where they were found on the same night. The performers had been destroyed in a single night.
The world, as if it had created them with its own hands, had found them all at once. The Tarotists who received the news could not stop asking themselves the same questions:
"How did they understand our system?"
"How can they be wiser than us?"
"How will we prove our superiority without the performers?"
As soon as they received news of this disaster, the Tarotists closed themselves in their underground cities for fear of being discovered. Running back and forth in fear in their cities, the Tarotists thought about how they could return to the Golden Age but reached no conclusion. Unable to even go outside to find performers, the Tarotists decided to wait helplessly until the attention on them dissipated.
During this wait of unknown duration, they wrote a book telling their own history and teachings to future generations of Tarotists against the possibility of death, and hid this book in the deepest point of the underground cities.

For many years, the Tarotists became ordinary people who knew their own history but forgot the meaning of that history. They no longer even believed that their God had chosen them.
